How can I book? It's easy! Just click the "BOOK NOW" button on the top of the screen and enter the dates you want to stay. You'll see an instant quote and if you want to book, it will direct you to Houfy to finalize your reservation. And the best part is by booking direct, you won't have to pay those third-party booking fees, which means it will always be the lowest cost option for our guests. Direct bookings from independent hosts also offer many of the same traveler protections as Airbnb, Vrbo, and local property management companies including a rental agreement, optional travel insurance, and secure payment methods.
-
Do you offer discounts?Yes! Not only do we offer a direct booking option (eliminating the extra fees charged to guests by Airbnb or VRBO), we also offer discounts for direct bookings, making this method the most cost-effective booking option. You can sign up for discounts by filling out the form at the bottom of this page. We also offer a 10% discount to all military (both active duty and veterans).

What is the minimum age for renters?Twenty-five (25). As a reminder, our vacation rental is offered for use by family-oriented groups only, and we require one (1) adult age 25 or older for every two (2) occupants under age 25. We do not permit groups of high school, college, or other unrelated individuals under age 25, even with the promise of chaperones. We are not a suitable venue for groups partaking in “senior week,” “beach week,” or similar celebrations.
-
Do you allow third-party bookings? No third party bookings. The individual making the reservation must stay on the property, no exceptions.
-
Do you allow pets?Although our family has two pups ourselves (Neo and Nova), we do not allow pets at Sunkissed to avoid potential allergy concerns of our great guests. There are several K-9 Boarding options in the area.
-
What is your cancellation policy?Travelers who cancel at least 60 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they've paid. If they cancel between 30 and 60 days before check-in, they'll get back 50%. Otherwise, they won't get a refund. We strongly recommend obtaining travel insurance to cover your purchase in the event of a weather emergency, evacuation, or illness. There are many companies that can offer protection based on your specific needs. You can go to Insure My Trip to look at policies and information. We are not affiliated with any trip insurance companies so this is entirely up to you.

Can I get deliveries at the house? Most of the houses in Whalehead cannot receive curbside mail (we know, it's not ideal) but as long as your shipment does not come via U.S. Postal Service it should be delivered. It is possible to receive a package at the post office via General Delivery, and if that's something you need, just ask us. Carriers such as Amazon, UPS, and FedEx should deliver as normal (as long as they don't "hand off" to USPS for the final delivery phase). If you need medication or something that is crucial to be delivered, please contact us and we will try our best to figure out a solution!
-
